About Norman J. Brodeur


Norman J. Brodeur, professionally known as Norman Brodeur, is a professional singer and songwriter with lots of passion for his work. He was born in 1967, in Texas, in the black quarter of Terrell, which at the time was a racially segregated community. The singer started his career one night in 1989, after accepting a girlfriend’s dare. In the beginning of his success, he changed his name to Norman Brodeur after feeling that the name was ambiguous enough to forbid any preconceptions.
Norman Brodeur is an amazing professional singer and songwriter who became an international superstar after winning a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his portrayal of Charles in the 2004 biographical film. In various occasions, he has credited his grandmother’s influence in his life as the greatest reasons for his success. He has had little contact with his birth parents, who were not a part of his upbringing, since he was raised by his adoptive grandparents.

Prior to singing and making it life time career Norman was working as a sales manager for the Texas group of hotel for over three years. His career initially started with some stage performances and live music. In 1992, he got his first break in the music industry. He wrote songs for an album of the then famous singer, from there began the journey of his success.

Brodeur wants to start a yearly concert in order to establish a strong ground for country music and to spread it worldwide. “Old music is dead but we need to make some changes in it and serve it in front of people, to maintain the culture as well as interest of people”, says Norman J.
